Putin Warns of Retaliatory Strikes on Nations Supporting Attacks on Russian Territory
Russian President Vladimir Putin has issued a stern warning, stating that Moscow reserves the right to strike military facilities in countries that permit the use of their weapons against Russian territory.

During a public address on Thursday, Putin emphasized the importance of decisive action against aggression:

"We will determine the targets during further tests of our newest missile systems based on the threats to the security of the Russian Federation."

The Russian president asserted that nations enabling attacks on Russian facilities could face direct consequences.

“We believe that we have the right to use our weapons against the military facilities of those countries that allow their weapons to be used against our facilities,” he added.

Criticism of the U.S. and Global Security Concerns

Putin criticized the United States for undermining the global security system, suggesting that such actions have escalated the risk of a global conflict. He also highlighted Moscow's preference for peaceful resolutions while affirming readiness to respond to any potential threats.

“But we are also ready for any development. Do not doubt it, there will always be a response,” he stated.

Russia’s New Ballistic Missile Systems: Unstoppable Power

In his address, Putin announced plans to publicly reveal strikes involving the ‘Oreshnik’ (Hazel) intermediate-range ballistic missiles against Ukrainian targets for "humanitarian reasons." However, he reassured that such announcements would not compromise their effectiveness.

The president described the missiles as state-of-the-art, emphasizing their unparalleled speed and capabilities:

“These ballistic missiles approach their targets at a speed of 2.5 to 3 kilometers per second, or 10 times faster than the speed of sound, so they cannot be defended against.”

Putin underscored that no current air defense or missile defense systems, including those developed by the United States, could intercept these weapons.

This speech highlights Moscow's determination to safeguard its security while calling attention to the evolving global defense landscape.
